SosyalBen Skill Development Center is a child-friendly development center that provides regular and continuous access to physical and social activities for children who study in transported education system and do not have equal opportunities with their peers and for children affected by disasters, while also providing regular psychosocial support.
While these two centers, which were opened in Hatay on April 23 and in Adıyaman on April 24, ensure the continuity of the psychosocial support provided by the SosyalBen Foundation through its educational and instructive workshops; they also play an important role in preventing children living in the region from losing physical and social skills.
BEGEM, which brings together SosyalBen Foundation's long-term workshops with children between the ages of 7-13, in a safe, educational, instructive and child-friendly center; gives children the opportunity to solve problems, express themselves, develop self-confidence and learn from each other.
With after-school workshops prepared by experts; children can gain skills in creative drama, sports, invention, painting and agriculture. Children who discovered their talents in these areas in the pre-earthquake period also have the opportunity to remember and improve their skills and abilities.
BEGEM also acts as a unifying platform that shows how Turkey's strong brands can influence society together and in a stronger way. Our Skill Development Centers in Hatay Serinyol El Ele Association Campus and Çimko Campus in Adıyaman, which aim to provide psychosocial support and prevent the loss of physical and social skills in children by delivering SosyalBen Foundation workshops prepared by expert psychologists to children affected by the earthquake; were implemented with the support of Çimko, Mavi, Migros, Nestlé Nesquik and Vestel.
Within the music, agriculture, invention, painting, creative drama and sports workshops of the Skill Development Center; Çimko takes on the Invention Workshop; Mavi on the Painting Workshop, Nestle Nesquik and Migros on the Creative Drama Workshop, and Vestel on the Sports Workshop.
